Greetings, Nqolebovu Kamasizila, greetings Mkhonto KaShaka, saniboni Swai Swai, hello to you all ‘Beautiful Birds’ on this lovely Friday.

Each time I write this column, it feels like it has been ages since I last talked to you. It is hard to believe that just seven days ago, we were discussing issues affecting your club, this great club. It is always my delight to talk to you directly you beautiful Birds.

We have intensified preparations ahead of the start of the new season, which kicks off in less than three weeks time.
We are not taking anything for granted. We are serious. We are focussed on the task at hand. We promise not to disappoint you beautiful Birds, as we seek to reclaim our glory.

On Sunday, the great club will be involved in a four-team tournament to be played at Somhlolo National Stadium.
Other teams to feature will be Bad Boys, Mbabane Citizen, Ludzeludze Killers and ourselves. Entry fee is E10.
Make sure you do not miss these games, Swai Swai because they will clearly give us an idea of what to expect in the new season.

We also have complete faith in the three teams we will be playing against, they will give us the desired practice. They are all quality sides.
The biggest mistake would be to undermine them. We will unleash our strongest team on them because we will treat these games as a dress rehearsal ahead of the Charity Cup.  Please do come in numbers to cheer the boys.

Itak’seta WayaWaya: your vote counts

The one thing that makes me take my hat off for you beautiful supporters is the fact that you always come through for this great team when needed the most.

You have been voting in numbers in the past few days, hence it is not surprising that your team is now a position better than where it was a few weeks ago. Even though you have still not started voting to your true potential, we really appreciate your efforts. I know you can do even better than this but we are happy you have responded to our calls.

We have a social responsibility to plough back to the community and help change the lives of those who are less privileged. The Swazi Telecom Charity Cup Spectacular gives us a chance to do well and we should all embrace such a noble idea and be part of this history making tournament. We will always be grateful to SPTC for such a brilliant initiative.

Keep on voting beautiful Birds to ensure that your favourite team features in the tournament. We have a proud record to protect. We have not lost out in participating in the past 12 editions of the tournament and we are not about to start now.

The dream is  alive Swai Swai!

As I promised you last week that we are assembling the dream team, one that will be all out to restore order and sanity in the domestic competitions, my words should be ringing more true to you today. Last season’s top goalscorer Sandile Hlatjwako is now officially a Bird after signing from Malanti Chiefs. Ghanaian sensation Frank Antwi has also signed on the dotted line for this great club. Remember Mkhonto KaShaka, we have not released any player yet with the exception of South African defender Thabiso Maharala, who has already been cleared to his new side in South Africa.

This in essence means that we still have basically the same team that did duty for us last season. Instead we have added two more players who we definitely know will add value to the team.
Let me also make it clear that the two will not be the only players we will sign. Watch this space Swai Swai, as we will be unveiling more signings next week if everything goes according to plan.

At Swallows, we all know that second best is not good enough, hence we will go out of our way to ensure we bring our loyal supporters unprecedented joy in the new season.
I will talk to you again next week Swai Swai and I love you all!

Shaka akashayeki!
