MTN LEAGUE ACTION RESUMES

MBABANE – It’s on and it’s hot! Eagerly anticipated MTN Premier League mouth watering clashes will be played on both Saturday and Sunday, as the competition draws to a close.


Eyes will definitely be on current leaders, Royal Leopard, who will host a not so safe Moneni Pirates at the Prince of Wales on Sunday. The game will kick-off at 3pm.

The police ensemble is currently topping the charts on the log standings and lead defending champions Mbabane Swallows by four points going into the last three matches of the competition. Swallows will host Manzini Sundowns in another potentially explosive encounter slated for Somhlolo National Stadium on the same day. It will also kick-off at 3pm. The league, however, starts on Saturday with action at Mhlume, Mayaluka and Somhlolo National Stadiums.


At the national stadium, army side Young Buffaloes have a date with elite league rookies RSSC at 1.30pm before the relegation threatened Midas City attempt a Houdini act against Pigg’s Peak side Malanti Chiefs in the main game set to kick-off at 3.30pm.


At Mhlume Stadium, inconsistent Correctional Services outfit Green Mamba, under the guidance of Gcina ‘Magiyane’ Dlamini, will play against Umbelebele Jomo Cosmos at 3.30pm, while at Mayaluka Stadium Manzini Wanderers will host another relegation threatened side Manzini Sea Birds at 3.30pm.
