Greetings balandzeli bekudula, labalandzela licembu lekudula ngoba lidlala libhola lekudula. Nidulile shem and anitentisi maWeseli. MaWaza please help me shout ‘Happy Birthday Wena waPhakathi! May the Almighty God give you more years to come as you lead your nation to 2022 and beyond. Bayethe Wena WaPhakathi’.

MaWeseli lamahle ngiswele nemagama lengingawasho about our last game against Midas City. We have said a lot after losing certain games but I’m tongue tied on this one, where to start and how to put it.
But above all maWeseli, silimele sonkhe as a family and kufuna sibambane sibe munye silaye sitsa lesijabula nakucatjenwe. This is a game we were not supposed to lose, not because I’m looking down upon Midas City, no, but because we are a big team with big expectations from you, our passionate supporters who have waited so long for silverware.

Hope was there as we were four points behind the log leaders whom we are still going to meet in our last game. Ours was to win all the four remaining games in order to be in a better position to snatch it. Although all is not lost maWeseli, we have made things difficult for ourselves. Now we have to regroup, collect all the nine points from the three games left and pray that the two teams in front of us drop points. Nothing is impossible maWeseli, ibhola iyagicika.

We need to all stand up and pray to the Almighty kutsi sekake, just once, abhekise emehlo akhe ngakitsi simaWeseli, licembu lelihambisa embili inkholo than the other sacred things I cannot mention here. I City kufana nekutsi itsele umhlaba ekudleni kwetfu but we will rise up and be counted.
In last week’s column, I reported that it is now official that Mr K Ndlazi and Manzini Wanderers have parted ways as he submitted his resignation letter to us.

What baffles me the most now is that the former coach is showing a lot of unprofessionalism in the way he is dealing with the issue. In any organisation if one has resigned I don’t think that particular person then goes around telling everyone why he/she has resigned from that organisation.

Ndlazi is one coach we respected so much at Manzini Wanderers. He has done a lot for the team and we appreciate that but what he is doing through the media to this great club is completely uncalled for. Mine personally; I don’t understand kutsi usenekela ini Ndlazi.
Does he mean he was only working because of the supporters? That is completely not true Mr Ndlazi. We appreciate so much the relationship you had with the supporters but please Sir, don’t misuse it because kungenteka kube kwananabo sekuyabakhuba lokuhamba uye emisakatweni nasemaphepheni utsi besikuholela bo E2 nabo E3, which you know very well is not true. What the coach is doing now is setting the supporters against the management of the team.

The MD and the elders of the team have gone out of their way trying to reason with the coach to reconsider his decision to resign. MaWeseli, please, I beg you, let us remain united here and please try to support your administration.

I don’t think the administration of the team is there to destroy this great club but to make it one of the most successful in the kingdom. You have attended meetings maWeseli where you were given the platform to pose any questions and forward any contributions. You are still invited even now to continue doing so.
The administration has now roped in Mr Mphumelelo ‘Flamma’ Gamedze as our new coach. More than anything, maWaza, Gamedze needs 100 per cent support from all of us.

I’m begging you, Manzini Wanderers family, let us be united and support our former great player. He knows the culture of the team and he knows how passionate you are about Manzini Wanderers. Wahamba in 2002 sisabitwa ngabothishela belibhola eSwatini. Ubuyile nyalo ukhandza sesibitwa ngelicembu lelidlala libhola lekudula. He has promised to keep it more expensive and even add VAT on top.

Team news

Sanele ‘SikaMareza’ Chauke is currently nursing a back injury he sustained in our game against City, but do not panic maWeseli, the doctors said it is promising he might be fine before our next game against Sea Birds.

Ladies Team

This was not a Manzini Wanderers weekend as also I Kappa ladies itsele umhlabatsi ekudleni kwabo sisi betfu. We lost 3-1 to Kappa Ladies.

News Extra

The patron, elders, MD and the MC of the club would like to say thank you to all the supporters who went to Mpaka for the funeral of make waKwere. Siyabonga kakhulu maWeseli, may God bless you in every way. Wish you all maWeseli Happy Easter holiday! Hope you will all attend church njengebafana bemkhuleko, bafana bemthantazo. Dula Weseli.

‘God bless Manzini Wanderers Family’
