MBABANE – As the 2024 World Teqball Championships in Vietnam draw near, the Eswatini Teqball Federation (ETF) has unveiled its squad for the upcoming event.

According to the ETF Secretary General, Nolwazi Ngwenyama, Eswatini will be represented by three athletes across two categories. Naomi Du Pont will compete in the women’s singles event. Du Pont was 63rd in the World Teqball Singles rankings, last year, and has participated in several national and international competitions.  In the mixed doubles category, Mfanafuthi ‘Taribo’ Bembe and Ngwenyama herself will represent Eswatini. The championships will take place from December 4 to 9, 2024, in Nguyan Hua Square, in Ho Chi Minh City’s financial and business district.

The 2024 World Teqball Championships will feature competitions in five categories: men’s and women’s singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
Participants from around 90 countries and territories are expected to take part in the event, which will be held outdoors.
