The announcement was made by the Minister for Finance, Neal Rijkenberg, on Wednesday. “Their expertise and efforts will promote integrity within procurement processes and stimulate growth and innovation in the private sector, driving Eswatini’s economic development,” the ministry said in a statement. Motsa is not the first football administrator to be appointed to a government Board. Ezulwini United’s boss and Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Chairman, Polycarp Dlamini, was previously appointed into the Eswatini Television Authority (ESTVA) Board. Former Mbabane Highlanders Chief Executive Officer, Celucolo ‘Dino’ Dlamini, also serves as the Eswatini Sport and Recreation Council (ESRC) Board Chairman. The ESPPRA board’s term usually runs for three years.
