MBABANE – The country’s senior national team Sihlangu Head Coach Dominic Kunene says predicting this season’s MTN Premier League champions is difficult.

Kunene said this after watching     Young Buffaloes defeat Green Mamba midweek by a solidarity strike from Amathole Ezinyathi attacking midfielder, Sandile ‘Saviola’ Gamedze at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium.
“The league has been interesting for everyone and predicting the team that is going to be declared the Premier League of Eswatini champions is not easy because all the top three teams still stand an equally good chance to win the league.” he said.

The Sihlangu gaffer also said it was good for the sponsors to see the league going to the wire.
“The sponsors will definitely be happy to see that this season the league will potentially be decided in the last day. Generally, the standard of football is improving and many players have raised their hand in wanting to be part of the national team. We will have to see who takes the league between all the competing teams, which are; Green Mamba, Young Buffaloes and Mbabane Swallows, which should also not be ruled out at this stage,” he added.

Meanwhile, the title contenders for the league will all be playing tomorrow in different match venues. Log leaders Green Mamba will be battling Denver Sundowns at Nsukuwansuku Stadium, second-placed Buffaloes visit Madlenya FC at Mayaluka Stadium, while Swallows which will also be hoping to see both security forces losing their games, have a clash with defending champions, Royal Leopard at Mavuso Sports Centre.
