RECORD WORLD RANK FOR NOBUHLE

MBABANE – Local Professional golfer Nobuhle Dlamini is having a bright start to the year.

This is after the Lobamba-born golfer had her best ranking ever since she began her professional career. Dlamini is ranked 465th as of this month and this is her best ranking ever. The climb in the rankings came after her good showing in the Invest South Africa Women’s Open, where she scooped 0.54 points. Before the Investec competition, she was ranked 476th. Earlier this year, she was ranked 497th.

By the end of December 2022, she was ranked 507 while in year 2021 she was ranked 481. In 2020, 2019 and 2018 she was ranked 610th, 617th  and 822nd, respectively. Her worst ranking was in 2017 when she was position 1 197. The number one top golfer according to www.rolexrankings.com is New Zealand’s Lydia Ko and followed by Nelly Korda from United States of America, with South Korea’s Jin Young completing the top three. Rolex rankings have ranked 1 547 women golfers.
