MBABANE – “Don’t ever mess up with ‘Ngudze’ or you’ll face the music.”

That is the stern warning by elite side Tambankulu Callies Managing Director (MD)  Sithembiso ‘Ngudze’ Mamba, who is spitting fire after a fellow member of the Simunye group of teams, Moneni Pirates, are alleged to have harboured his first choice goalkeeper Ncanawe Ndlandla, who is allegedly training with them.

In an audio shared with this publication yesterday, by the agitated administrator, Mamba minced no words that as a former Pirates General Manager (GM) and supporter at some point due to his passion for the game, he invested a lot of money there and when he left, he still sold them players. “I have been quiet and deliberately so because I thought you knew your debts.

“You didn’t finish paying for Nsimbini and Njabulo, but still I’m quiet then you come and negotiate for Reagan and Muhle, we agree and then I charged you. You asked me to send account details but since last week you have not sent or said anything. Then now you take my players who have contracts. You’ve taken Ncanawe now to train with you,” he alleged. Mamba continued to say the goalkeeper, Ncanawe, was still contracted to Callies and Pirates should know better about respecting football laws about contracted players. He warned Pirates that he invested a lot of money in his players he recruited from the regions, turned them into elite stars for any team to take them for free.

Money

“Stay away from my players. I’m not quiet because I worship Pirates or I’m silly or I don’t know money. Don’t ever mess up with me or you’ll learn the hard way from me, I tell you; I have helped Pirates a lot financially and otherwise even last season and previous one so, stop this or you’ll see. Even the Player’s Status Committee cannot do that to me because I understand the rules of the game,” he retorted. Sought for further clarity on the claims, he could not be reached on his cellphone. Callies and Pirates are both members of the Simunye Group chaired by Mbabane Highlanders Managing Director (MD) Chief Ally Kgomongwe.

Other members are Seven Dreams, Mbabane Swallows and Manzini Wanderers. The club’s Manager Twoman Masuku said there was negotiation between the two teams over some of the players before referring questions to their Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mhlonishwa Motsa. However, he had not given his response by close of business yesterday.Meanwhile, the second transfer window is on since last Monday and will run until February 10 at 4pm.
