MBABANE – Another setback.

Eswatini’s chances of qualifying for next year’s International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup are becoming very slim. This follows that Eswatini is having a tough outing in Rwanda in the sub-region Africa Group B qualifiers.

Defeat

Eswatini Men’s Twenty 20 (T20) suffered their third defeat to the group leaders Nigeria yesterday. The former won the tie with 118 runs. It seems as if it will now need an extraordinary effort to keep this dream alive. Eswatini takes on Sierra Leone today at 9:30am before a tie against one of the group’s strongest teams, Tanzania, ahead of their finale against Cameroon on December 8. Only the top two teams will join Kenya and Rwanda in the final qualfiers.
