MBABANE- Gallant Eswatini Men’s ICC T20 World Cup 2023 Qualifiers team suffered its second defeat in Rwanda.

Chances of qualifying for India 2023 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup are becoming slim as the remaining teams may prove even tougher for the squad. This follows after the team suffered two defeats out of the seven games they were expected to play in the sub-region Africa Group B qualifiers.

The Delisa Malinga-coached charges yesterday bit the dust to neighbouring Mozambique after losing by nine wickets. The first defeat was against Ghana in the opening match on Thursday. It is not yet all lost as Eswatini can take solace in the fact that they managed to shock Gambia, winning by five wickets.

The team is yet to play against the likes of Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Cameroon who are also seeded in the group. Eswatini is not playing today and will continue with their campaign in a bid to do better in the next game.
