MBABANE – It is a tricky weekend outing for troubled defending champions.

Royal Leopard, who are fresh from yesterday’s 1-2 upset against Tambuti, are set for a tricky week seven fixture this weekend. The defending champions will visit winless Manzini Wanderers on Sunday at King Sobhuza II Stadium in Nhlangano. Both teams have endured a disastrous start to the new season, as the maroon and white outfit are at the bottom of the log, while Leopard are positioned 12th.  Also at the same venue will be a repeat of the MoMo Cup finals fixture as Nsingizini Hotspurs and Moneni Pirates will face off, and each will be looking forward to redeeming themselves from the last weekend’s defeats to Mbabane Highlanders and Mbabane Swallows, respectively.

Meanwhile, Highlanders and Swallows are also set for another weekend’s tricky draw. After sharing the same venue last week, they will face Tambankulu Callies and Manzini Sea Birds in that order on Sunday. Swallows will cross swords with Callies in a double-header. Callies demolished Swallows 4-2 in a first round match last season. The day’s activity will end with a clash between Sea Birds and Highlanders at 3:30pm. Log leaders Young Buffaloes are expected to keep their first round carrot hopes alive at Kalanga Technical Centre, as they host unpredictable Tambuti.
National First Division (NFD) week four fixtures, on the other hand, are headlined by a Shiselweni mini derby. Rangers, who are at the summit of the log table, will be looking to beat rookies All Nations on Saturday to maintain their top spot and unbeaten run. Sisonke and Milling Hot Spurs are set to battle it out for the second spot on Sunday.
