DURBAN – Mbabane Highlanders Coach Selaotse ‘Sly’ Mosala has described the first goal conceded by goalkeeper Khanyakwezwe Shabala as a killer.

The goal came in just minutes before the break, when Shabalala failed to stop a weak shot from Elias Pelembe. Highlanders have now bowed out of the CAF Confederation Cup with the 2-0 defeat after settling for a goalless draw in the first leg at Somhlolo National Stadium. “We wanted to stay in the game and the first goal we conceded was a killer goal. It just came in minutes before the break. I’m happy that we continued to be in the game until the end. “This was a learning curve. We have not started domestic games in Eswatini, while Royal AM have played a number of matches in their league,” Mosala said.
