EMAFINI - They are the trendsetters.

This is the story of Manzini Wanderers under the new leadership of Director Cedric Mathata, who yesterday motivated eight players to vaccinate. The players took the jab yesterday at the Business Eswatini (BE) premises during the Jovel’Industry Vaccination Campaign launch. Leading the players was their team captain Mthunzi ‘Chippa’ Motsa. Others players who got the jab are Mthokozisi Dlamini, Mlandvo Dlamini, Sibonelo Dlamini, Thembisa Shabangu, Sandile Shabangu, Zweli Mdlovu, Siyabonga Ginindza and their COVID-19, Officer Ncamiso Magongo.

The captain after taking the jab invited the nation to do the right thing. “Firstly I want to state that we are doing this to be on the safe side. They say prevention is better than cure so we had to do the easy way. I would like to encourage other soccer players and fans to also vaccinate because this can unlock our industry as the minister has pointed out,” said Motsa. The vaccination campaign launch was officially opened by Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga. Also present during the launch was Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi and Minister of Commerce, industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo among others. The event saw performances from songstress Nomalungelo Dladla, M-Nation, a Reggae Collaboration from ZwiiFyaah and Grinder. Also entertaining the audience was comedians Ndosh Webengunie and Gogo.
