MBABANE – Ludzeludze Killers’ relegation fate was confirmed yesterday afternoon following a one-all-draw between Mbabane Citizens and Hlatikhulu Tycoons.

Citizens and Tycoons locked horns in a relegation decider as four teams stand to be axed in the National First Division while two Premier League bottoms step in.  Initially, two teams have to be promoted from Super League and serious decisions need to be taken as the regional football leagues have been on ice for the past two seasons resulting from the outbreak of COVID-19. This was a must-win game for Tycoons and the pressure to get three points in order to escape the relegation bracket, Tycoons conceded an own goal in a defensive error where Lwazi Mdluli struck a header to give Citizens a lead 10 minutes into the game. Tycoons fought hard to recover but Citizens goalkeeper was on guard as he made three remarkable saves in the first half.
