TEQBALL DONATES E120 000 EQUIPMENT TO MOH

MBABANE – The Ministry of Health received a major boost for their wellness centres.

This is after the Teqball Eswatini Federation donated E120 000 of equipment to the ministry. The federation donated four teqball tables worth E30 000. The presentation was done at the Ministry of Health Officers situated at Cooper Centre. The teqball tables will be distributed to the four regions in the country. Making her remarks during the presentation, Teqball Eswatini Federation Secretary General Nolwazi Ngwenyama said they were pleased to donate to the ministry.

“This donation goes to the Wellness Programme of the Ministry of Health that looks after the wellness of the Health Care workers. What made us to donate is that we felt since some sports like netball and volleyball have not been allowed to resume yet, we felt the health workers can keep active by playing teqball,” said Ngwenyama. Meanwhile Director of the Ministry  of Health Vusie Magagula thanked the federation for the kind gesture. “This will go a long way in keep the health care workers active. We appreciate what the federation have done for the ministry. This would be of great help indeed as a ministry we advocate for health living,” said Magagula. The federation has also donated two teqball tables to Mavuso Sports Centre early this year. Also attending the presentation today was Sports and Coach Development Officer Njabuliso Simelane, Nokwazi Dlamini who is the Social Media and Sports Administrator. Sibongile Mhlanga who is the coordinator of the wellness for the ministry of health was also present during the presentation.
