MBABANE SWALLOWS START INTERNAL PREPARATIONS

MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows have begun internal preparations for the resumption of premier league games.

This comes after the announcement by acting Prime Minister Themba Masuku that football resumption at the premier league level was being given the green light to start. The capital city giants have not wasted time getting down to business as their players were spotted going through their paces at their training ground in Ezulwini on Monday.

“At this point, we are only doing internal preparations as we await guidance from the relevant football authorities regarding the reopening of games,” said Swallows’ Marketing and Communications Manager Mancoba Mabuza in a statement yesterday. He could not come out in the clear on whether or not their players have undergone COVID-19 testing after it emerged that football authorities have emphasised on players getting tested before engaging in group training.
