MBABANE – All eyes are on the Player of the Series Award as the Ingwenyama Cup’s fifth edition champions, Green Mamba, will today take home their E1.4 million cheque.

A brief prize presentation ceremony will be held today where all prize winners, including runners-up Mbabane Highlanders, will receive their prizes.
Green Mamba won the March 8, 2020 final at Somhlolo National Stadium with a 2-0 score line before His Majesty King Mswati III and a 12 000-strong crowd.
It will undoubtedly be the individual awards that most will be keen on.

The Player of the Series Award carries a cheque of E15 000 and a trophy. Green Mamba are the champions after their 2-0 win over consecutive runners-up, Mbabane Highlanders on March 8, this year.

This was a week before the country’s first lockdown due to COVID-19. This was the last game in the current season that fans witnessed in football countrywide as all sports were banned indefinitely.
There are some obvious candidates for the main gong.
