MBABANE – Manzini Sundown’s Deputy PRO Thabiso Manyatsi is enjoying cycling during the partial lockdown as there is less traffic.

Manyatsi, who cycles socially, said he felt much safer on the road as compared to when life was normal.
He said he cycled mostly on weekends where he joined the professional cyclists where they cycled long routes of up to 150km a day.

Manyatsi said he cycled at least not less than 30km every day after work and then took on the longer routes on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Safe

“I usually ride along the Mbabane-Oshoek Highway and now it is time to enjoy as there is less traffic and I feel safe on the road, especially now during the lockdown. I believe other cyclists must use this to their advantage and enjoy the road with less traffic,” he said.

Manyatsi is the Deputy Public Relations Officer (PRO) to Manzini Sundowns PRO Muzi Matsenjwa.
