BIG 3 IN ESWATINIBANK CUP GRAND OPENING TRIPLE-HEADER HEADER

MBABANE – The country’s big three will all form part of the grand opening of the 17th edition of the EswatiniBank Cup on Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium.


The big three are Manzini Wanderers, Mbabane Highlanders and Mbabane Swallows. They will all be playing against minnows after the tricky draw on Tuesday. They will all be playing against Super League sides.


Winners


Wanderers will be the first to take to the field against Rail United at noon while Mbabane Highlanders will be next to face the winners between Shooting Stars and Mvuma Hot Spurs, who are playing in the play-offs this evening. The game will kick off at 2:05pm with Mbabane Swallows and Sisonkhe will face off at 4:05pm. The defending champions of the E3.4 million sponsored tournament, Young Buffaloes, will start the defence of their crown against National First Division League side Tinyosi tomorrow evening at Somhlolo National Stadium, kick-off 8:30pm. There are 10 games to be played on Saturday, spread all over the country.


A double header will be played at Prince of Wales Sports Ground where Umbelebele will face Green Mamba and Mbabane Citizens will host Denver Sundowns at 1:30pm and 3:30pm respectively.


Other double headers will be played at Somhlolo National Stadium, Mavuso Sports Centre, Mayaluka Stadium and King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Manzini Sea Birds,who are waiting for the winner between Hawane Shooting Stars and Mvuma Hotspurs in the play-offs will play on Sunday at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium, starting at 2:30pm.
