MBABANE – Despite a slow start to his professional boxing career, South Africa-based boxer Sibonelo ‘Mayweather’ Ndzimandze has some positives to celebrate.

The 32-year-old, who turned professional in 2016, is ranked 796th out of 2 001 by BoxRec, which is an official record-keeping site for professional boxers.  The standings are based on Ndzimandze’s six fights. He won two and lost the same number of bouts on a technical knockout (TKO). A  TKO occurs mainly when a boxer is deemed by the referee to be unable to defend himself properly.

According to the records, one fight ended in a draw in points against one South Africa’s Sibusiso Malinga back on September 22, 2018 at the KwaXimba Sports Hall in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal Province.

Meanwhile, Ndzimandze turned professional in 2016 following an illustrious amateur career spanning over 10 years. He was a national champion in the 64kg division.

The former Ubombo Boxing Stable pugilist is currently based at Empangeni in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal Province. He has endured six bouts and 18 rounds while competing in the Super Light Division.  Efforts to get comments from Ndzimandze on his journey so far were fruitless at the time of compiling this report.
