“On our elite athletes, we have seen them hoisting our flag both in track and road running. Our top lady sprinter Bongiwe Mahlalela together with other three athletes in the country broke national records in the 4x100m relay in South Africa. Our top male sprinter Lindelani Maziya was also selected to be in the national team and we are proud of his performance and commitment to the sport. He is the most committed athlete in the club. When you talk of 2019 queen of the road in half marathons, there is none other than one of our pride, Sithembile Nzalo, a humble soul, a committed one, an athlete that has a story to tell, God’s chosen one. She is our gold medallist, our athlete of the year,” he said.
