MBABANE – Eswatini Airlink has pumped in E50 000 into Eswatini Cycling Association (ECA).

This was revealed by the association’s President, Sihlangu Nhlabatsi. The presentation was held at Bethel Court in Ezulwini yesterday. This is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility. The company did not donate to the cycling association only but to other non-profit organisations. Presenting the replica cheque of E50 000 was Eswatini Airlink Acting CEO Joseph Dlamini. Also present during the presentation was the ECA Secretary General Morgan Rudd.

“We are honoured to be presented with such a good gesture which will go a long way in improving the sport through social cohesion, healthy lifestyle and an effective competition in the sport,” Nhlabatsi said.

“We are hoping that early next year, this donation will help impact the society by partnering with other cycling event organisers and give back to society. We are also looking to invest the donation on development. We want to unearth new talent by hosting cycling clinics and also help the elite cyclists to improve their game,” he added.
