MBABANE – The Manzini mini-derby between Manzini Sea Birds and Moneni Pirates will now be played two days earlier.

They will play in a MTN Premier League double header billed for Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium, where Milling Hotspurs will first play Mhlume Peacemakers at 1:30pm and then it will follow at 3:30pm. The Premier League of Eswatini released amended fixtures yesterday.

Sea Birds and Pirates were first scheduled to play yesterday but the match was then brought forward. This is according to the amended fixtures.
Another enthralling match to be played on Sunday is between Tambuti who are going to host Mbabane Highlanders at Mayaluka Stadium. Kick-off time is 3:30pm.

The pressure will be on Mbabane Highlanders following a three-game winless run.

However, Highlanders might still be buoyed by their better head-to-head after suffering only one loss against Tambuti in the six league meetings. That was back on December 19, 2017 in the 2016/17 season.

The duo of Young Buffaloes and Mbabane Swallows, who are now favourites for the first round E350 000 incentive, will be in action on Saturday.
Log leaders Young Buffaloes host relegation-threatened Pigg’s Peak Black Swallows at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium at 3:30pm, while Mbabane Swallows have a date with Malanti Chiefs at Somhlolo National Stadium, with the game starting at 3:30pm.

The armed forces derby between Royal Leopard and Green Mamba is billed for Mhlume Stadium on Saturday at 3:30pm.
The fixtures were released by the PLE Chief Operations Officer (COO) Pat Vilakati.
