MBABANE – Capital City giants Mbabane Highlanders Radio PRO Paul ‘Magidza’ Masilela is lucky to be alive after surviving a nasty accident.

According to a source close to the matter, the accident happened along the Ngwenya-Mbabane road next to the off-ramp to Pigg’s Peak on Saturday evening. The source confided to this publication that Masilela lost control of the car and it hit the guardrails and it landed on the slow lane near the road. The source further disclosed that the Highlanders PRO was driving his white Toyota SUV.

The eyewitness also suspected that the rain and slippery road might have been the cause of the accident. Masilela was travelling with two other passengers when the accident occurred. He was taken to hospital and he was discharged the same night. Efforts to get comments from the PRO proved futile as when called several times last night his phone rang unanswered.
Meanwhile, Highlanders Corporate and Communicating Officer Bhekisisa Dlamini confirmed the saw news. “We have heard of the sad news and we were so touched. We heard that it was not bad and we were relieved to hear that he was not badly injured. But we wish him a speedy recovery in the minor injuries he sustained,” Dlamini said.
