MATSAPHA – Army side UEDF ladies team proved invincible against struggling RSSC in the elite Nedbank Eswatini Volleyball League.

This was on Saturday at the University of Eswatini (UNESWA) Sports Emporium where they beat the Lubombo-based team 3-0.

It was a big match-up with the UEDF taking the lead and dominated in all sets with some strong hitting for a convincing win.
RSSC came a determined side for the second set but could not outplay the opposition that led in the second technical timeout. The losing side showed good structured play and defence but UEDF outplayed to win the match as the crowd went wild in support of the teams and spectators screamed as the match went on.

UEDF showed their versatility and blocking strength to keep RSSC from gaining any real traction.

For the male teams, Mahlanya managed a hard fought 3-2 victory against a tough Ludzeludze team while Bob Cats won 3-1 against UEDF.
