The Correctional Services side will face Zambia’s Zesco United in the second leg match to be played under the Total CAF Champions League. The game is billed for tomorrow at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Zambia. Green Mamba lost 0-2 to Zesco in a home game played on August 10 at Mavuso Sports Ground. Mthethwa expressed EFA’s undivided support for the team and wished them a safe trip as they represent the Kingdom of Eswatini.

“This is your chance to write your own history as you go to play in Zambia. In the football world, everyone has a tale to tell and like many soccer legends, I retired in football while I was still very much capable. We are excited that our teams participate in international games as this progress is in line with our mandate which is development,” said Mthethwa.

Coach Caleb Ngwenya assured of his players’ readiness for the challenge ahead and vowed to rectify their loss incurred in the first leg match. Ngwenya admitted that it would be an intense game but promised to work hard and deliver the best performance which will earn them positive results.
The team is expected to return home on Sunday.
