REAGAN FOR FREE STATE STARS TRIALS

MBABANE – One man’s loss is another man’s gain. This phrase might right true for former Premier Soccer League side Free States Stars after they have been reportedly on the verge on signing out of contract Manzini Sundowns Reagan Kangumbu.


According to a source close to the matter, the former ‘Kappa Boys’ midfielder is set to join the Ea Lla Koto on Thursday for trials.
“The player was spotted by one of the soccer legends from South Africa during the charity games which were held at Mankayane recently. The player is said to be have impressed the SA based soccer legends and one the legends recommended him to Free State Stars,” the source.


Efforts to get comments from the player hit a snag as his mobile phone rang unanswered when called several times last night.

“He is a good player and yes I did hook him up with officials from Stars and they are willing to have him on trials on Thursday,” the legend confirmed on condition of anonymity.
Reagan is among the list of players who were released by the Manzini based side. Others who were handed their clearance were Sibusiso Mkhonta, Willie Ekwe Djembe, Frank Antwin and Ben Mukendi Biaya.
