MBABANE – The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) Pool Club have strengthened their team with decorated star Dodge Matsebula but Bhunya will be no walk-over.

Matsebula has already recorded wins in the police team as he won most of his frames in their 13-8 victory over Mankayane in the preliminary stage. He was making his debut in that match and is on loan from Mbabane Express Carwash League side Bel-air.

They take on Bhunya this afternoon at the Matsapha Police Academy. This will be the second match of the day as first to take to the tables will be the match of the day between security forces’ giants Garrison (army) and Correctional Services at 1pm. REPS and their tricky rivals Bhunya face off at 3pm. Bhunya reached the quarter-finals after outfoxing Figaredo 13-7 last Saturday and have the potential of standing their own against a side with an array of stars with international experience like Sibusiso Nhlabatsi and Norman Khoza to name a few.

Meanwhile, Way Inn and Nick’s, all from Malkerns, got a bye to the semis and will be in a draw with the winners today.
Below is today’s schedule and prize breakdown;
