MBABANE – As the curtain has fallen on another enthralling edition of the EswatiniBank Cup, we reflect on some of the moments which might remain etched in the minds of soccer lovers.

It is now history that Young Buffaloes beat Royal Leopard by a solitary goal to become the first team to win it three times in a row at Somhlolo National Stadium two days ago.

The festivities were obviously headlined by the presence of His Majesty King Mswati III, who crowned the champions in all three categories that included the women and the Under-20s. Below are some of the moments which caught the eyes of the Times Sports Desk’s roving camera.
1. King cheerful all the way

The presence of the King in soccer finals always adds a spark. This past weekend’s final was no different, as the King did not only crown the champions but was cheerful all the way. It seemed the King enjoyed every moment, as he wore a bright smile throughout the festivities.
2. Matching fans’ outfit

Among the jolly Young Buffaloes loyalists were two gorgeous-looking fans wearing camouflage jumpsuits. At first sight, they could be mistaken for twins.
3. DJ Tira thrills

The moment top South Africa spinner DJ Tira arrived, most supporters’ faces lit up. He gave up a grand performance alongside Tipcee and their crew.  Most of the fans, especially the ladies, were captured trying to touch him from outside the fence. He is not called ‘Makoya bearings’ for nothing!
4. Tambuti players’ special dance

After defying all odds to win the EswatiniBank Cup Under-20 tournament ahead of favourites Manzini Sundowns, Tambuti had reasons to be merry. They managed to grind a 2-1 win on the road. Their celebrations were headlined by the vosho dance.
5. Leopard twins ‘no longer identical’

For a change, Royal Leopard’s identical twins Lungelo and Fanelo Tsabedze could be easily separated. In previous match-ups, they did the same things; from matching hairstyles to soccer boots. On Sunday, Lungelo appeared with no hair at all. His brother Fanelo opted for his short hair. Some people claim they are not of the same height.
