MBABANE – The Lubombo region will on Sunday enjoy an international game between South Africa’s Amazulu and Mbabane Swallows.

This was confirmed by Swallows PRO Jackson Dlamini yesterday who said their friendly match with the ABSA Premiership outfit was billed for Mayaluka Stadium in Big Bend.

“The South African team will be in the country over the weekend and as Swallows, we’re grateful that we will be able to get a game with them as we prepare for the MTN League and EswatiniBank Cup. We can only appeal to our supporters and the Big Bend community to come out in numbers and watch the game,” he said.

The entrance fee, Dlamini said, was set at E30 per head while the game will resume at 3:30pm.
“Our supporters must also be aware that over the past weekend, we went to Mozambique where we played Desportivo on Saturday afternoon and won 1-0. Our neighbours then proposed a return friendly and we will host them on Thursday (tomorrow) at Somhlolo National Stadium,” he explained.

He said for tomorrow’s match, fans will be required to pay a meagre E10 while kick-off is at 3pm.
“We’ve also roped in our elite rivals in Tambuti and Vovovo who will play the other at 1:30pm on Sunday which means a double-header for the fans. Only Thursday’s game is a single-header,” he explained.

Dlamini further said they would also be out to register their supporters on Sunday in Big Bend as they want to collect the database for marketing and sponsorship purposes.
