NHLANGANO – The joy and celebrations of some Mbabane Swallows fans was cut short on Saturday afternoon.

Three fans are said to have been involved in a near-fatal car accident on Saturday afternoon on their way to Mbabane from King Sobhuza Stadium in Nhlengano.

They had gone to watch their team play against Manzini Sea Birds in their MTN Premier League fixture and Swallows won 1-0.
Information gathered by this publication is that the accident occurred around the outskirts of Nhlangano when the fans were travelling back to Mbabane.
Photos captured after the accident were circulating on Saturday evening on social media where other supporters of Swallows expressed their sympathy over the tragedy.
