UNITED HOLDINGS’ E50 000 FOR LEG OF LAMB

MBABANE – United Holdings Insurance (UHI) pumped in a whopping E50 000 towards the Leg of Lamb golf tournaments.

The sponsorship presentation was made by UHI’s Commercial General Manager Marielli Fortune, who declared their commitment to sponsor the 2019 Leg of Lamb tournament to be hosted at Manzini Club. She said the sponsorship would contribute towards the building of the Manzini Club through enhanced golfers’ participation and support the weekly tournament.

“Through United Holdings Insurance, we hereby commit ourselves to sponsor the 2019 Leg of Lamb to the value of E50 000. We are proud anchor residents of Manzini and may this sponsorship contribute towards building a united reason to be in Manzini every week,” said Fortune.

United Holding is an associate of Dups Group of Companies, which has operated in the kingdom for the past 70 years. United Holdings Insurance has since grown from Dups Direct Insurance to being a fully-fledged and licensed insurer. Fortune said their aim was to build a relationship with the golfers and the nation at large in order to become their health insurer of choice.
“We want to ensure active and healthy golfers and I believe that our contribution will help us achieve that goal,” she added.

In appreciation of the sponsorship, veteran golf player, OB Macwele thanked the sponsor for its support and appealed with the golfers to be insured with United Holding.
“People who sponsor golf get tired and easily give up. It is rare to find a company in the calibre of UHI to support golf and we are very grateful for that, considering the country’s economic state. Our part is to give them the support that they deserve,” said Macwele.
The tournaments are usually played weekly at Manzini Golf Club.
