MBABANE – They will be unleashed tomorrow against army side Young Buffaloes. These are midfielder Stephen Makatuka, former Amazulu and Caps United central defender and former Caps United midfielder Cabby Kamhapa. They are set to debut for defending champions Mbabane Swallows in the semi-final of the Ingwenyama Cup’s 4th edition. The match is billed for Somhlolo National Stadium at 3.15pm.

The two ought to be fully registered ahead of last night’s transfer deadline and in time for the crunch semi-final clash.
“We’ll have two Zimbabwean players who all impressed but our PRO Jackson has all the details,” affirmed coach Musa Manyatsi when asked if they were signed and registered yesterday after the pre-match press conference at Sincephetelo Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (SMVAF) headquarters inside the capital city.

Dlamini confirmed the players’ names to be Stephen Makatuka and Cabby Kamhapa from Zimbabwe’s Caps United but only the former had been fully registered by close of business yesterday. However, deadline was at midnight and Swallows submitted all necessary papers to register both stars but were waiting for transferred defender Tawaralli to get a team to open the space.
“The target is to defend the Ingwenyama Cup and league so we can return to Africa. We’re strengthening so we have enough depth to also cover for injuries. Our supporters will be seeing new faces and must welcome every player into the team once they have joined us,” he appealed.

He appealed to their supporters to come in numbers for this match as it was a big battle against Buffaloes.

Meanwhile, Swallows are not the only side to unleash new players tomorrow as Mbabane Highlanders, who face Malanti Chiefs, are also most likely to have former Green Mamba midfielder Phumlane Ngwenya have his debut. Ngwenya is from Swallows but did not play a part for them since the turn of the year and did not feature in this tournament.

Highlanders’ PRO Paul ‘Magidz’eludzakeni’ Masilela said they were working around the clock to have him available for the match but were still finalising his paperwork with Green Mamba. Below, is the transport arrangement to the stadium for Swallows’ supporters as confirmed by Dlamini (PRO) who added that their merchandise will also be sold at the stadium;
