MBABANE – It’s a tricky tie. Both Mbabane Highlanders and Malanti Chiefs are first timers at this stage of the Ingwenyama Cup in four years and one of them will further a first timer in the final. They both look to achieve their maiden final.

“The pressure is there for us but as players, we know we can do it, especially with the attitude we have these days. We are well focussed and it is that positive attitude that tells us we will reach the final. We can only invite our supporters and also encourage them to be safety cautious on the road and behave well at the stadium,” he said.

He said past results against Malanti would not count as this was a whole new challenge for both sides. His rival captain, Siyabonga Nkambule said the fact that they were in semis for the first time and against a team of Highlanders’ calibre was a huge motivation for them to win the game.

“We’re ready for this game and invite our supporters to come enjoy the games,” he said.
His coach Raymond Dlamini declared the pressure was not on them while also saying that they were ready for the match.

“We do have challenges here and there, like scoring goals, but even the one or two we score see us winning at the end so we’ll play the final,” he said.
