MBABANE – Vovovo coach Gcina ‘Magiyane’ Dlamini will watch from the stands when his side take on his employer’s team, Green Mamba.

The game between the two sides is billed for Saturday at Somhlolo National Stadium, kick-off 4pm. This would not be happening for the first time as he was also in the stand in the first round fixture, which saw Green Mamba winning 3-0.

Vovovo Public Relations Officer (PRO) Stan Dlamini, confirmed yesterday that their coach is indisposed and he would be back at training next Tuesday. He said the coach submitted a doctor’s note that gave him seven days off duty.

Sick

A source close to the matter confirmed that despite the coach being sick, he was still going to watch the game from the stand as per the agreement between the two teams.

“We are unfortunate that our coach is currently not available to lead the team but we are doing all our best to be ready for the game. Every game is a must win for us now and we are happy that all our players are available for the crucial match,” he said.

‘Magiyane’ took over the reins at Vovovo after Edwin Matsebula, who is a police officer quit joining Royal Leopard at the beginning of the season.
Coach Magiyane confirmed yesterday that he will leave his duties with the assistance coaches.
Raphael Ntibane is among those to lead the team against Green Mamba in the absence of ‘Magiyane’.
