EXTRA TIME COMES TO PLAY!

MBABANE – A win today will mean closer to the bone for the victorious team – that is in this afternoon’s Ingwenyama Cup first quarter-finals at Somhlolo National Stadium.


Fans will be treated to a double-header featuring the security forces’ derby between police side Royal Leopard and army team Young Buffaloes at 4pm.
The preceding match will see Malanti Chiefs take on First Division side Tinyosi FC at 2pm.


Only two of these four teams will progress to the semi-finals of the tournament and edge closer to the grand prize of E1.3m.


Unlike in the previous two stages of the knockout, this time it will not be straight to penalties in case of tie in regular time but extra time which is 30 minutes then the shootout if it remains undecided. Below, we look at the pros and cons;
