PLE SUSPENDS ‘ORDER’, 3 OTHERS

MBABANE – League title hopefuls Young Buffaloes young forward Fanelo ‘Order’ Mamba has been suspended by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE).


The former Moneni Pirates striker is ineligible to face Matsapha United in tomorrow night’s MTN Premier League clash at Somhlolo National Stadium.  He is one of three players on ice in the upcoming midweek games after accumulating three yellow cards.


Also suspended is table toppers Green Mamba defender Thabiso Gumbi, who will miss the trip to Somhlolo National Stadium for a showdown with Manzini Sea Birds. The latter will be minus the seasoned Mfundo Zwane.

Completing the list of the sidelined players is striker Roy Mamba from Tambuti. The Lubombo-based ensemble visit Manzini Sundowns at Mavuso Sports Centre tomorrow at 6:30pm. The teams of all the suspended players are in action tomorrow.


The players will serve a one-match ban and will be available for selection in next games, especially ‘Order’, whose team will play in the Ingwenyama Cup quarter-final against Royal Leopard on Saturday.


This is per the correspondence copied to the teams by the PLE office yesterday.
Meanwhile, the likes of Mbabane Swallows, Manzini Wanderers, Mbabane Citizens, Royal Leopard, Vovovo and Malanti Chiefs will only miss their injured players when they return to action tonight.
