MBABANE – He is expected to move out of the Lugogo Sun Hotel to his rented house next week.

That is new national football senior team head coach Kosta Papic from Serbia but well-known as he has worked with all Soweto giants – Orlando Pirates, among others in South Africa. Papic arrived in Eswatini last Friday night and got accommodated at Lugogo Sun in Ezulwini.
He currently resides in the hotel and has spent seven nights to date.

“What is certain is that he is moving out to his rented residence next week, but I am not sure when exactly,” said an impeccable source.
It is understood that the hotel rates currently stand at a special fee for the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) of E1 057 per night for bed and breakfast. This special price is also available to various other companies in the country.

What was also ascertained was that dinner costs stand at E245 per night. Put together with the bed and breakfast bill of E1 057 per night, this amounts to E1 302 and this excludes lunch. Effectively, in seven nights, the EFA will be parting with about E9 114 and in 10 nights the bill will have shot up to E13 020.

Depending on when he moves out to his house to be rented by the EFA as per his one year performance-based contract with a E60 000 monthly salary plus a car, the EFA could pay slightly more.

Papic who has watched some of the Ingwenyama Cup games in the Last 16 at Mayaluka Stadium and Somhlolo National Stadium last Saturday and Sunday, respectively, also affirmed to being housed at the hotel and that he would be out by next week.

EFA Marketing and Communications Officer Muzi Radebe said accommodation issues for the coach were quite personal.
“It’s also about another department handling logistics concerning that but the EFA will ensure that the media meets the coach officially next week where a lot of details can be shared,” he said.
Radebe asked not to commit himself on the issue of the coach’s hotel accommodation when further asked if the EFA had not prepared a house for him as his arrival date had been known for some time. Meanwhile, the EFA Executive Committee is also out having its retreat at the same hotel since Thursday until tomorrow.
