MBABANE – Mbabane Highlanders coach Saul Chaminuka will have to wait longer before leading the side in his first derby.

While the two heavyweights can meet in other tournaments, their MTN Premier League clash will be played at a later stage on week 21 in the schedule.
Chaminuka is yet to lead Highlanders in the derby. The reverse fixture, which ended 3-1 in favour of Swallows, was manned by departed South Africa-born gaffer Mlungisi ‘Professor’ Ngubane.
According to a second round fixture schedule released by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) office yesterday, Swallows will start with a visit to Manzini Sundowns, who recently beat them 1-0 while Highlanders will chase a double against Tambuti following a 2-1 win in the first round.

Struggling

Struggling Manzini Wanderers, who are currently going through a ‘revamp’, have a tricky fixture against Young Buffaloes.
First round champions Green Mamba, on the other hand, will visit bottom-placed Matsapha United.
The second round opening games will be played on the weekend of January 11-13.

Meanwhile, in the National First Division, Black Swallows will be in revenge mode when they visit Shiselweni-based Rangers, who recently knocked them out of a Cup tournament with a 2-1 win.
The reverse fixture ended 3-0 in favour of the Pigg’s Peak-based ensemble.
