3 PLAYERS SCORE HAT-TRICKS

MBABANE – The race for the E10 000 top goalscorer carrot is on in the Ingwenyama Cup.

Out of the 66 goals that were scored in the Last 32 of the tournament, three players bagged hat-tricks each; being Mbabane Swallows Wonder’ Samba Jive’ Nhleko, Sizolwethu ‘Nunu’ Shabalala and National First Division side Tinyosi’s Bongumenzi Dlamini.

Eleven players scored a brace each. The biggest winners were the defending champions Mbabane Swallows who thrashed Shiselweni Super League side, Young Movers 8-0 with Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze scoring a brace.

Manzini Wanderers DR Congo’s forward Mike Dombo stole the show when he steered his side to a 2-0 victory over National First Division League side City Warriors. Mbabane Highlanders Xolani ‘Chocco’ Sibandze was also on form on the day as he scored a double in their 4-0 win over Hub Sundowns with the other goals coming from Thabiso Mokenkoane and Melusi Dlamini.
