The Nkoyoyo-based soldier was crowned the Ultimate Swazi Warrior Challenge winner. This was after he dominated in the past year and further excelled in the last edition of challenge which was held at Simunye Country Club on Saturday. Shinning in the over-40 male category was Cutter Sibandze with Dansile Mdluli reigning supreme in the over-40 female category. The results were released by the event organiser Thea Litschka-Koen yesterday.

“The scorching heat did nothing to deter warriors, and everyone gave it their best. Despite the high   temperatures, the times achieved at this event were exceptional,” Litschka-Koen said. She further said the team events had to be cancelled due to the scorching heat. “At just before 11am the organisers were advised that the temperatures had reached dangerously high levels, which forced them to stop taking late registrations and the team events had to be cancelled,” she added. The Ultimate Warrior Female position went to Carol Preat, who was also unbeaten in 2018, the most loyal Warrior position went to Charles Mamba, who has not missed a single competition since the competition inception.
