‘BULL’S MUSA SECRETARY OF SADC MASTERS COMMITTEE

MBABANE – Mbabane Highlanders Board Secretary Musa Masuku has been elected into the SADC Masters Committee.

The Southern African Development Community Masters tournament is held annually among the SADC countries. It is a social tournament which is meant to keep people active through playing soccer and it also encourages networking.

Masuku who is a member of Mbabane Real Social confirmed the latest development during a press briefing where they reported back to their sponsor, Eswatini Mobile. The event was held at the mobile company’s offices on Wednesday. The mobile company sponsored Mbabane Real Social Masters with a kit which they used during the SADC Masters Social tournament which was held last Sunday at Maseru in Lesotho.

Real Social were champions after winning all their games and they were handed two trophies. They will keep the other trophy since they have managed to defend it on three occasions.

The chairman of the committee is Malome Mooki while the General Secretary is Musa Masuku with Katleho Mosoeu as treasurer.

Masuku said he was happy to be elected among   the committee. He also thanked Eswatini Mobile for sponsoring them with a kit and also said they were hoping to defend the tournament next year. Present during the press briefing was Eswatini Mobile’s Fisiwe Vilane and two of the Real Social players in Bright Zondi and Sifiso Masuku.
