ESWATINI MOBILE-SPONSORED TEAM WINS SADC TOURNEY

MBABANE – Eswatini Mobile’s partnership with Mbabane Real Social is already bearing fruits.


This is after Real Social won SADC Masters tournament which was played at Maseru in Lesotho.
Speaking during a press conference, Musa Masuku, who is also a member of the team, said they were very happy about their achievement. He also thanked Eswatini Mobile for sponsoring them with a kit.

“We are happy to report back to Eswatini Mobile that their partnership has motivated us to win the tournament. We were playing against teams from Mozambique, Lesotho and South Africa. We managed to win all our games and bring the trophy back home,” Masuku said.

He further said the tournament will be held in South Africa next year and Eswatini would be host in 2020.
“We are happy that we were also able to market and promote Eswatini Mobile brand during this tournament. Indeed we can say that Eswatini Mobile serves and connects people,” he added.
Eswatini Mobile’s Fisiwe Vilane said they were proud that the team they had partnered with shone in an international social tournament.

“Our main focus was  to sponsor the elite league teams, but when Real Social asked for assistance, we could not turn them down.Ours is  to help where we can as a mobile company. We also support teams so as to promote and develop sports in the country. It is therefore encouraging to see that our partnership with them has yielded fruits and we got recognition from other companies through the kit they were clad in,” Vilane said.
Also present during the press briefing were some of the players in former Mbabane Swallows Bright Zondi and former Mbabane Highlanders legend Sifiso Masuku.
Meanwhile, Musa Masuku, who also happens to be Mbabane Highlanders Board of Directors Secretary has been elected as a general secretary, of the SADC Masters new committee which was nominated on Sunday after the games.
