MBABANE – It is a very busy month for the Swaziland Equestrian Federation (SEF).

Fresh from hosting two events this past weekend, the federation will host another event on Friday, November 30, 2018.
This past weekend, SEF hosted the FEI World Dressage Challenge on Saturday and the federation hosted the SEF National Dressage Championship Final leg on Sunday at the Nyanza Stables in Malkerns.

Local riders in Kate Reilly-Warr and Wandy Williams made history during the first event when they reached the fourth highest level in dressage.
For the first time in Eswatini, riders rode on level Prix St George which is two places before the highest and Olympics level, the Grand Prix. Kate went on to win the SEF National Dressage Championship Final leg on Sunday in the adult category.

The federation’s calendar shows that the FEI World Show Jumping Challenge second leg competition is scheduled for next week Friday.
SEF Secretary General, Sue Elsey, confirmed the event and noted that federation will be holding the FEI World Jumping Challenge on Friday November 30 and Sunday December 2, 2018. “This is a regional and international competition run annually for riders over the age of 14 years jumping over one metre up to 1.30 metres,” said Elsey.

She highlighted that SEF was also hosting its annual National Show Jumping Championships over the weekend with various classes on Friday November 30, Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2.

The event will be held at Swazi Lizkhar Sport Horses in Ezulwini on all three days.
