MBABANE – Supporters will pay E50 to watch Sihlangu’s ‘dead rubber’ AFCON qualifier against visiting Niger on Sunday.

Both Niger and Sihlangu have been eliminated in the race to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations finals to be staged in Cameroon next year with two games to spare following a nightmarish qualifying campaign. They meet in the penultimate game of the qualifiers at Mavuso Sports Centre at 3pm.

Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Marketing and Communications Officer Muzi Radebe confirmed the entry fee, saying the rates from CAF were used to determine the fees.

“We’re finalising the logistics of the pre-sale tickets. We’ll issue a statement in due course,” he said.
Radebe said his office was yet to learn about the arrival logistics of the visitors.

At least 27 players were selected for the international assignment and most reported for camp two days ago. South Africa’s Maritzburg United forward Justice Maritzburg, who is the only selected Eswatini international, was yet to join the team last night, but was reportedly on his way to join to camp.

Injured Sabelo ‘Sawa’ Gamedze of Mbabane Highlanders has been excused after picking an injury in the goal-less draw with Mbabane Citizens three days ago.
