MBABANE – Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force (UEDF) runner Nkululeko Gama continues to shine in the Mbabane Parkrun.

Gama was the winner of the 79th edition of the weekly 5km-timed run, which started and finished at the Mbabane Club yesterday. Despite not beating his personal best time of 14:56 minutes, he managed to protect his record of being the runner with most wins (29) in the history of the parkrun, which started in May 2017. He clocked 16:28 minutes to emerge as the overall winner.

“I am happy to win again. However, it’s not about winning but about keeping a healthy lifestyle and being fit. Every Saturday, my main target is to beat my personal best time of 14:56 minutes,” Gama said.
