LEOPARD HEAD EAST

Are wheels coming off at Royal Leopard?  This is a question the police outfit’s loyalists are beginning to ask themselves following the team’s inconsistency of late.

After playing out of their skins in the first few matches, Edwin Matsebula’s men found themselves playing catch-up in the race for the E350 000 first round ‘carrot.’ They are seven points shy of the top spot, as they head east to face strugglers Matsapha United at Nsukuwansuku Stadium in Mhlume tonight.

It is a perfect opportunity to bounce back from the 0-1 setback against Mbabane Swallows, as tonight’s hosts are enduring a terrible campaign since their restructuring at the beginning of the campaign. Seven defeats in eight matches make Matsapha to look like an octopus in a garage. Having played a tough fixture, which they lost 0-1 to Highlanders at the same venue two days ago, ‘Bogandaganda’ will have to swim with the sharks again in their bid to return to winning ways.
