ANGLING FUND-RAISER A GREAT SUCCESS

MBABANE - Golfers raised E52 500 during an Angling fund-raiser. A total of 56 players, consisting 14 teams made up of four members each, gathered at Royal

Swazi Spa in Ezulwini on Sunday, where they played golf with the purpose of raising funds for the Eswatini Angling Squad which will be participating in the World Angling Championships at Lake Cuchillo in Mexico on October 24, 2018.


Prizes were up to 10th place and all winners took home  fresh fish and a bag of potatoes along with their awards, since fish and potatoe chips make a good combination.
The champions were Frank Hlophe and Mike Zwane who led by 45 points, followed by Kerwin Fortune and Brandon Rennie at 44C/0.
Rasheed Mohamed and Evart Madlopha came third with 44 point while B Bruwer and Dean Johnston got 43 points.
At position five were Ricky Saulos and Shane Groening at 42C/0. The couples who scored 42 points were; George Nisbet and Carl Smith, Craig Stone and Anton, Paul Fortune and Henley Rennie.


Gary Keizan and Alan Son were at number nine while Pete and Shaun fell in 10th place with 41C/0 and 41 points respectively. Extra three prizes were awarded to Longest Drive and Nearest to Pin 3 and 10.
