MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows prodigal son, Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu, is back with the team.

He started training yesterday afternoon in preparations for the CAF Champions League clash against Zambia’s Zesco United. Ndlovu went AWOL at the Birds nest two days before the Eswatini Telecom Charity Cup played on August 5 at Somhlolo National Stadium.

A source close to the matter said the player and the club finally met and he agreed to play on Saturday after he missed out on the Charity Cup.
“He is back and training with the rest of the team. It will be up to the coaches if they feature him on Saturday but he is ready for action,” said the source.

Quit

Ndlovu wanted to quit Swallows for South Africa’s National First Division League side Mbombela United, and he also got interest from army side Young Buffaloes and Chippa United among others.
Mbabane Swallows General Manager Sandile ‘Beyond 2000’ Zwane, said he did not attend training session yesterday but he was not aware that the player was back.
He said what he knows is that he is their player and always ready to give his best.

Swallows will welcome the Zambian team tomorrow morning, as they will land in the country on a Chartered plane.  Zwane said the advanced party is already in the country.
“Our preparations are going okay and we have been told that Zesco United will arrive in the country on Thursday (tomorrow). Their advanced team arrived on Sunday,” he said. Zwane invited fans to come in their numbers to support the team. It will be E50 entry fee and the game will be live on SuperSport 9, kick-off 3pm.
