I AM READY FOR ZESCO UNITED GAME - PALMA

MBABANE - “I am ready for Zesco United.” These were comments by Mbabane Swallows central defender, Mandla Palma. The MTN Player of the Season assured ‘Birds’ loyalists that he would be part of the squad to face Zambia’s Zesco United on Saturday.
“I am ready for Zesco United. The injury I sustained during the Eswatini Telecom Charity Cup was not that bad, I am recovering well. I have already started my light training and I am positive that I would have fully recovered on Saturday,”Palma said.

He further pointed out that this game was a must win.
“This game will somehow determine our fate in the CAF Champions League.We need to win it by all cost.If we managed to hold them to a draw at their own back yard, what can stop us from beating them here at home,” he said.

The two sides will cross swords in the second leg of the Total CAF Champions League at Mavuso Sports Centre on Saturday. Swallows are currently third in Group J while their opponent are languishing at the bottom with two points. Swallows on the other hand have four points. They managed to hold Zesco to a 1-all draw away from home while getting maximum points to Angola’s Desportivo 1 de Agosto at home.They have only lost twice to Tunisia’s Etoile du Sahel in the home and away leg.
